10th May 2014
Windsurfing: Ynslas
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength: 25 - 50 mph
Surf / Sea State: White water forever
Air Temperature:
Sea Temperature:
Weather: Rain and a little sun
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Sun to start and 25-35 mph so rigged 4.5m which was about right for the first hour or two though the wind was up and down and patchy. More cross-shore than the last couple of sessions which made it a bit easier but still lots of white water close together. Got out to some bigger waves but white water a long way out. Fun playing in the bubble bath until I hit a wall of white water, catapulted and put my head through the sail!

By then the wind had picked up so I tried my 4m but probably could have used 3.5m and I was getting tired so stopped. By then all the kites had gone in reporting 45 knot gusts.

Would have been 5 star without the hole in the sail.
